Workweek outlook: A warm start to the week

Published by admin on

High pressure over the Sault region at the start of this workweek will help bring some sunshine before the wet weather arrives. As a result, temperatures will be warmest early in the week and cool off to near seasonal values for this time of the year.

The long-range forecast suggests that warmer air could return to northern Ontario again for next week.

Skies will slowly clear on Monday, with afternoon temperatures climbing to 12°C again. Morning fog on Tuesday will give way to partly cloudy skies and daytime highs near 12°C again.

Wednesday brings a mix of sun and cloud with a southerly wind pushing temperatures up to 14°C. Rain moves in after midnight and continues on and off on Thursday as daytime highs settle in near 13°C.

The sun should break through the clouds now and then on Friday, but a cool north wind will drop the afternoon temperature to 11°C. More rain and slightly cooler air move in this coming weekend.
